Earth Hour

Have you ever asked yourself "what can I myself do to stop global warming?" Well many of us have and many of us have found the answer by participating in Lights Out Sydney/ San Francisco/ London and taking the time to turn our lights off for that designated hour to send a message about action needing to be taken to stop global warming.

This year it's called Earth Hour and citizens of the world are invited to turn off there lights together at the designated hour of 8pm on March 28th, 2008. Cities all around the world are participating in efforts to provoke thought and action about the importance of stopping global warming.

Check out the video below.

of the MacBook Air.

There Will Be Blood

The newest film from acclaimed director/ writer Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, Punch Drunk Love) entitled There Will Be Blood, staring the memorable Daniel Day Lewis, looks to be one of the years best films. The story loosely based on Upton Sinclair's Novel Oil, is deeply reliant upon two great American themes, Religion and Capitalism/ Greed.

The Gladiators Are Back

Yep, your prayers have been answered. The classic American Gladiators is back on the air with a whole new set of roided out guys and gals. The events are more hectic this time around and include a massive indoor pool that contestants taking on the Gladiators usually end up falling in. The Gladiators are even bigger this time around but are not nearly as classic as the famous Turbo and Nitro. This time around they got some cheesy as names like TOA, and Night and Wolf. What is even better is it is hosted by the man himself Hulk Hogan and the chick that could kick any guys ass Leila Ali. But I'm still watching every Monday at 9 cause I enjoy seeing the little man get his ass handed to to him by some big old jock.
